Wordmark (Logotype)
Text-only logo using the brand name in a stylized font. Examples: Google, Coca-Cola
Lettermark (Monogram)
Initials or abbreviations stylized into a simple, clean logo. Examples: HBO, CNN
Brandmark (Symbol or Icon)
Graphic icon or symbol with no text. Examples: Apple, Twitter bird
Combination Mark
Icon or symbol combined with text. Examples:
Adidas, Doritos
Emblem
Text embedded inside a symbol, badge, or seal
Examples: Starbucks, Harley-Davidson
Mascot Logo
Illustrated character that visually represents the brand
Examples: KFC’s Colonel Sanders, Mr. Peanut
Abstract Mark
Geometric or conceptual shapes not tied to literal imagery, Examples: Nike swoosh, Pepsi swirl
